Norway Spruce Picea abies – 80cm
Site and Soil Charactristics:
Large tree (35m). A fast growing spruce. Prefers acidic soils for best growth but may do well on slightly alkaline soils (no more than 7.5 pH). Prefers cool climates but does very well in the hot summers in S.W. Ontario. Plant in full sun.
