Site and Soil Charactristics:
White pine can grow in a variety of soils, but it generally prefers well-drained, sandy or sandy loam soils. Grows best in full sun, but young trees can tolerate some shade. It can tolerate different moisture levels, but does not grow well in clay or in soil with a pH above 7
